Effect of EB-PVD TBCs Coating on Stress Rupture Properties at High Temperature of IC10 Alloy

Abstract

In this study,NiCrAlYSi bond coating had been deposited on IC10 alloy substrates by arc ion plating as YSZ had been deposited on the bond coating by EB-PVD technology.The effects of TBCs coating on stress rupture at high temperature property of IC10 alloy have been investigated.It has been found that the 980℃/200MPa stress rupture life of IC10 with TBCs coating increases,while the ductility of IC10 superalloy with TBCs holds the line.Namely,TBCs coating has not blight to the stress rupture at high temperature property of IC10 superalloy substrate and satisfies requirement for alloy application.
