Journal of Aeronautical Materials (JAM)(ISSN:1005-5053), a bimonthly journal in Chinese, started publication in 1981, and is openly distributed both at home and abroad. It is superintended by China Association for Science and Technology, co-sponsored by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics & AECC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials. The sci-tech periodical mainly publishes researches in the field of aeronautic and astronautic materials.
For many years, JAM has ranked among the top in the aeronautic and astronautic discipline, based on the journal citation report released by Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) and Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC). As the journal quality improves, JAM has been awarded the Certificate of Outstanding S & T Journals of China by ISTIC since 2014. In recent years, JAM has published a number of articles written by outstanding expert teams in the fields of aeronautical materials, including

To ensure the academic quality of publications, all manuscripts will be peer-reviewed and finally examined by editor-in-chief prior to publication. The journals owns an editorial board composed of renowned specialists in the field of materials both at home and abroad, a young editorial board of over 100 people and a strong team with hundreds of peer-reviewers.
Aims: The journal aims to report recent academic researches regarding Chinese aeronautic and astronautic materials, promote the development of aeronautic and astronautic technology, create a communication platform for scientific researchers and push forward the progress of aeronautic and astronautic materials.
Scopes: The journal mainly publishes recent researches in the areas of aeronautic and astronautic materials, preparation processing, calculation, simulation, properties and characterization of materials, etc. as well as reviews on aeronautic and astronautic materials with promising applications.
Readership: Any ones such as scientific researchers, engineering technicians, professors and students in colleges who pay attention to the development of aeronautic and astronautic materials.
